If you go to school or college, what is your class schedule?
-
Adeptive Education is bascially PE but instead of sports, you do fitness and training exercises. I wish I had that class. I have my class schedule but I'm too lazy to post it now. :P
-
I know what that class is, but I didn't want people asking me what it was. :P
I had that class last year too, and in my elementary years I had a class called O.T. (occupational therapy).

Boy, ur lucky!

Hate to ask, but what is "advisory"?
What do u mean?
I think he is talking about the class I have every two weeks ;)
Advisory is stupid.. You go there for 30 minutes every 2 wednesday's, and sit and do exersises to get to know people/teachers better. It's stupid, because we have the same advisory teacher all 4 years (3 years in my case, since it just started up last year) It is also a place to look a grades...blah blah blah..build social skills..all that dumb stuff.

TO me advisory is like boring setting your goals for the year and future and otherwise it is boring
-
AFAIK, there is no such class called "advisory" here, nor has there been in any of the schools I've attended. I however am taking a simular class called individual studies. We do work, and kind of build relationships.
-
Come this monday and tuesday, heights has decided to take blocking schedules into consideration.
Monday and Tuesday our schedule will be as follows:
Monday
Period 1 - 8:20 - 10:05
Period 3 - 10:15 - 12:00
Lunch - 12:00 - 12:50 (notice how lunch has been shortened...retards, 50 minutes)
Period 5 - 12:55 - 2:40
Period 7 - 2:45 - 3:35 (50 minutes)
Tuesday
Period 2 - 8:20 - 10:05
Period 4 - 10:15 - 12:00
Lunch - 12:00 - 12:50 (50 minutes)
Period 5 - 12:55 - 2:40
Period 7 - 2:45 - 3:35 (50 minutes)
hopefully we won't be keeping it...it sounds pretty stupid.
-

That's part of it. I don't think we have individual studies. Maybe your school is different, because you are in a public school
-
50 minute lunch periods is still pretty long for me. My lunch is only 25 minutes, and we have to stay in the cafeteria.
-
For us, we can hang around the A wing and C wing for eating lunch. And the time for my lunch period is 45 minutes
-
a bit retarded...but how is the lunch in your school?
-
Our lunch is good healthy quality meals prepared by Revolution Foods. As for the A wing and C wing, those wings are mainly used for quads on one side of the wing and the other side and the A wing is near a walkway straight bridge people walk through and it comes directly through.
-
My school's lunch is basically like what my elementary school was now. They use to have plenty to choose from, up until this year. I'm getting really bored with what they have now.
-
Is your school lunch good quality meals though?
-
a bit retarded...but how is the lunch in your school?
it's pure horror. although freshmen and sophomores aren't allowed to live campus they do anyway because the lunch at our school is pretty disgusting, gotta love upperclassmen privileges...
-
Ewww! Disgusting. My suggestion is that your school should upgrade to Revolution Foods. It's nutritious, healthy, and not disgusting
-
yeah, when I was a freshmen/sophomore all I got were apples or grapes or something fruit related. seeing it was the only thing that a] tasted good b] is good for you.
-
That's good though, but I wish your school would have more healthy foods with less oil or fat!
-

umm Al's school does
-
That's nice. Does your school have a cafeteria like a public school has? You told me you go to a private school
-

yes but the food is pretty awful and expensive

Nice! I don't have Spanish since I am a freshmen and in my school we don't have Art
-
well we're already talking about my next year schedule and it could be as follows:
(not in order)
Enriched English IV Dual Credit
Pre-Calculus
Physics Pre-AP (or) Environmental Systems (or both)
Government & Economics
Choir IV AP
Theater Arts I
we typically have seven classes, i still dunno what i want as my last class. i might take it as an off period (7th period).
-
Here are the courses I've selected for next year, for 11th grade. These are subject to change:
English 3
Pre-Algebra
Health/PE 3
US History 2
Spanish 2
Physical Science
The remaining two periods are study periods
-
Everyday except Wednesday - 7:55 AM - 2:50 PM: School
Wednesday - 7:55 AM - 2:20 PM: School
-
Only major class needed to pass senior year of H.S. English IV
-
Bringing back an old topic...
Classes separated with a slash are half-year courses.
1 Spanish II
2 Independent Photoshop V*
3 Independent Photoshop - Asst. Teacher**
4 Gym / Foods
5 Algebra II
L Lunch B
6 English 12
7 Economics / Political Science
* Course created for me only. I will be the only one in the classroom, working alone on school-related posters, signs, banners, etc.
** Similar to the above description, though I will co-teach the general Photoshop Class as well.
-
A student can co-teach? Since when?
-
They f***ed up my schedule...
Gotta love the public education system.
-
A student can co-teach? Since when?
Since... me. :P
I will be teaching on the projector how to use certain parts of Photoshop, as well as go around and help other kids (the class only has 12 kids in it).
-
How can you get into courses like that? Is there a certain amount of credits you have to have to get those privileges? I've never heard of schools allowing students co-teach and taking individual classes.
-
The teacher requested it. I'm clearly his favorite student. I know more about the Adobe products then he does. :P
Oh, and the district bought a $15,000 Roland Versacamm printer, to make all posters, signs, etc, in-house. He needs someone to teach it to him. :P
-
The teacher requested it. I'm clearly his favorite student. I know more about the Adobe products then he does. :P
Yeah that'll make you the teachers favorite in a hurry. :D
-
I'm sure my foods/home ec teacher from 8th grade would love to have me co-teach. I was the only one who behaved and cleaned things up the right way in that class. She told me how I should come to her house and clean. :P
-

I hated my 8th grade home ec teacher, along with the entire school. I threw an egg at her once because she gave me a 0/15 in participation points, even though I was ABSENT! Now, 15 points may not sound like much, but when you have a 70%, it's a whole lot. Oh, and I always ripped on her for "waddling" like a "penguin." She was the enemy.
-
LOL same here. In cooking I knew more about how to cook than any other kid in class. Same with home ec. I excelled in that class too.
I took two computing courses in high school (CIP I and II respectively, CIP standing for Computers and Information Processing), and left everyone, including the teacher in the dust.

Tyler, there's such a thing as being too smart.
Someone better hit Tyler on the head with a shovel. :)

Yes there is, isn't there Gil?
-
Gil, I'm no where near "too" smart. In fact, I SUCK at Math. :)
I just have a skill I'm good at, Photoshop. And, to be honest, I don't even think that's what I want to do with my life. I really want to peruse my childhood dream of being a cop, and eventually a detective. Of course, graphic design is always a good 2nd choice. :cool3:

I think a lot of people wanted to be a cop during their childhood. I know I sure did. :D
-
I wouldn't mind being a cop. I believe wholeheartedly in the justice system. :)

That's my one problem. We need a justice system overhaul, Tyler-style. :club:
Let me sample it for you:
You rape some one, we cut your "willy" off.
You steal/commit a robbery, we cut your fingers off.
You kill someone, we kill you back.
Sound good? :)

Agreed. IMO, it's fine to go offtopic as long as it isn't everyday or we have an argument over things that are offtopic.

We get that in my school . I have 2 hours of lunch and study hall. Probably because I go to a private high school.
Yes, thats obviously quite different than public schools.

Here are the courses I've considered for next year:
HSPA Math 4/Consumer Math/algebra 1 (depends on how well I do on the HSPA testing)
English 4 or English HSPA 4 (again, depends on how well I do on the HSPA)
World Cultures
Health/Wellness 4
Graphic Presentation
Foods & Nutrition 1

I think you're eligible for unlimited time for the HSPA testing, so that should help you out a bit, as I was and did remarkably well because of it.
-
Not unlimited time, but extra time. I think it's like an hour more or something like that. It's on my IEP.
-
For me, it was "untimed" meaning there wasn't a time limit and we waited for everyone to finish. That's what was on my IEP apparently and wasn't forewarned about it thus spent like 30 minutes wondering WTF room I was in for the testing...
-
3rd Quarter Schedule
1st Period - Spanish 2 (Full Semester)
2nd Period - SAT Test Prep (Full Semester)
3rd Period - Intermediate Team Sports
4th Period - Advanced Alg. & Trig. H.
-
maybe they're 90 minute courses.. it's possible.. not sure though
-
You only have four periods? I have 13 (though, it's actually just nine classes including lunch since some periods "overlap").
Yes, but every period is 90 minutes expect for Adv Alg. & Trig which is 85. There's 3 lunch periods A,B,C. I take C lunch which flies so fast for 30 minutes imo that's not a long time for people who eat the lunch, but I don't care I don't eat that toxic waste anyway.
-
Haven't we been over this before? Like multiple times? It's called block scheduling.

You only have four periods? I have 13 (though, it's actually just nine classes including lunch since some periods "overlap").
Yes, but every period is 90 minutes expect for Adv Alg. & Trig which is 85. There's 3 lunch periods A,B,C. I take C lunch which flies so fast for 30 minutes imo that's not a long time for people who eat the lunch, but I don't care I don't eat that toxic waste anyway.
try 24 minutes for lunch.

Well after testing, we are back on a normal schedule, though we have to stay an extra 30 minutes on to each day to make up so we can get out on June 12 rather than June 15. :censored:

You're staying an extra 30 minutes? That doesn't make sense, I'd rather end school three days later rather than making my already stressful school days even longer. It would also avoid getting the bus schedule messed up since most buses go to multiple schools around the area per day.
My old middle school in Pennsylvania used to broadcast Channel One in their classrooms. My current high school has their own morning show.

Why do you have to stay an extra three days? Swine flu I'd guess. I have to make up an extra week due to swine flu. If Ike didn't mess things up in Houston like it did, my schedule shouldn't have changed. <_<

B3. English 3. Mr. Thiele

Now my schedule effective from 21 September 2009
B1. Physics. Mr. Macuk
B2. Algebra 2. Ms. Hunter
B3. English 3. Mr. Thiele

Aren't you majoring in Journalism? Are those classes required for an AA or AS degree (that is what you are doing right now, right, getting our AA or AS and moving to a university)

Yeah I am, but alongside working on your degree you also have to complete the college graduation requirements. (not to mention, I have to take PE next fall). I know for sure I am taking two classes that are required for my degree (Graphic Design and Intro to Journalism).

Here's my junior year schedule, but my junior year seems to be the worst of the 3 so far (in terms of classes, weather, etc), and I am looking into getting this changed (yet again).
1st Hour- Algebra IIA (First half of the book this year, second half senior year)
2nd Hour- Earth Science (Right now learning about volcanoes, tectonic plates; just learned about rocks, and this class will focus on meteorology second semester (after January)
3rd Hour- English 11 (having a lot of trouble with the teacher in this class)
4th Hour- World History (this one is not going too well either)
5th Hour- Academic Lab (hour to do homework)
6th Hour- Yearbook (looking to switch to TV Media Issues 2nd semester)
-
This year is probably one of the best I've had so far, not only academically but socially (I thank Patrick in part for this)

-
This year sucks for me socially.. All my friends I hanged out with last year and through out middle school are on a completely different road this year..
Here's what I have both semesters:
1st: Spanish 1 (I hate how you have to do a foreign language for two years in order to graduate) <_<
2nd: Biology Honors (Class pretty much sucks big time... Have a quiz every day called quick quizzes.. Usually 2 to 5 questions each) <_<
3rd: Algebra II
4th: English II and Lunch :)
5th: World Civilization
6th: AP MOS (Microsoft Office Advanced Placement) :)

@ aaron, why? Do you have no friends in school or real life in that kind of way?

Well, I had the option of making friends in tennis, and for whatever reason, I chose the people I know here on the internet to talk to instead. Now that Mike is never online (no, I am not fixated on him, and stop saying that), really, I don't have much going for me now. I got into an argument with Mike through a PM and he must have reported me. Warn level is almost high enough to be indefinitely banned. I'm trying to recover and change my image, but I keep seeming to get sucked back into the life I don't want.

I think you should try getting other common interests. Like try to sign up for play or music class. You do like music, so being in a band of choir may interest you.
-
That is what I have been trying to tell him. I use that method myself, but I just so happen to find a few people with interests in the weather too. Of course I use other interests too.
-
I don't care about weather anymore. I have other interests in other things but I will not name here for obvious reasons so I've been focusing more on those things than TWC in general.

Thanks for the idea, but music never had worked out for me. I was miserable in band, and did not want to commit to marching band once I hit High School. As for choir, I was into that, but there's a story behind that. The evening that I came back from Cincinnati last October was when there was a choir concert. I did not feel like going, since I had just gotten back from a week long trip, even though I got back 2 hours before the concert. The choir director was furious, and was even mumbling to himself about the issue when class started the next day. He gave me a 3 page long assignment on critiquing the concert I had missed, and threw in an extra assignment just because he was upset. I was extremely discouraged that he treated me that way, even though I told him I was not going to be there, almost a month before the concert itself. I quit choir at the beginning of second semester and transferred into a computer class. I seem to have bad luck with a lot of things lol.
That is what I have been trying to tell him. I use that method myself, but I just so happen to find a few people with interests in the weather too. Of course I use other interests too.
Mike, you don't seem to get it. I can't quit cold turkey and all of a sudden go to a life completely away from the computer when I haven't been able to get away from the computer for 3 years now. You know I enjoyed chatting with you, and you could at least have the decency to talk to me at all instead of not caring. No offense at all, but that's what's on my mind, and I need to vent it.
-
You should have probably stayed in tennis. You told me how you really enjoyed that, but somehow just lost interest in it for some reason.
-
Ouch. :( We have a good choir here in my school, I've thought about joining it but it costs $$ which is stupid.
-
I was in choir in elementary school only because all the students were pretty much required to be a part of it. I can't sing anymore now lol
-

I was in choir from grades 4-12. I went from an alto to a baritone from 8th to 9th grade, lol. I sing decently, but not well enough for Idol, lol.
-

Same situation here. We were required in 5th grade. Thankfully, I only had to do it for 3 months before my family moved :D. I am a HORRIBLE singer.
-
I used to have a realtively high voice for my age through the end of middle school, and was even in the treble section. I hated it when my teachers tried to move me to the lower voice section lol :P
That changed, and I finally became a bass right at the start of high school. I am a pretty good singer, but as mentioned, because the way I was treated, I have no desire to have any involvement in choral programs.

1st/6th period: Math reg.

4th period: PE
5th period: Science
7th period: Math taks.
8th period: Social Studies
9th period: Langauge Arts
10th period: Computer class
One huge mistake: PE in 4th period. I hate it. What the hell are they thinking about? Putting me there after lunch and then the stupid a** 8th graders has to eat while we're at gym next to cafe (sorry, don't know how to spell it). And there's also re****ed 6th graders in the class. Huge, huge mistake. It's just a few 7th graders while there's a lot of 6th graders in PE at 4th period. I would rather have in 2nd period instead, not in the damn afternoon. <_<

I feel ya, Felix. Having 4th period PE sucks. Having it 1st thing in the morning is much better imo. It really gets you going and not having to worry about PE later on in the day. Maybe you should consider seeing your counselor and get it changed?

I can safely say that my Winter School Schedule is official. In the past couple of days I have not seen a change in adding/dropping classes on the registration website. So Health Ed. and Mod. Western Civilization are the classes I will be taking with no change. I already bought the books anyways. :hmm:
As for my Spring Semester (which begins February 16), my schedule is going to flip flop, unless I do find a change in the future. I'm willing to find a morning class for Monday/Wednesday to get rid of the afternoon class I have. so that Monday-Thursday I go to school at 8:30 and leave at 1:30.
As of now this is my current Spring Schedule.
Spring Semester (February 16 to June 11)
Monday-Wednesday
10:15-12:45 pm Graphic Design
(required for all Journalism Majors)
1:30-2:55 United States From 1877***
(IVC Graduation Requirement)
Tuesday-Thursday

(Required for major)
10:15-11:40 AM Physical Geography***
11:50-1:15 PM Basic Reading Development
(IVC Graduation Requirement)
***Classes subject to change
I will edit this post for further changes. ;)

I have a ton of classes to get out of the way before I head off to the University, so I am taking a class during Christmas break called a "minimester", so for 13 days between December 21 and January 8th, I am taking Speech 101 from 9-12:44 M-F
Starting January 18th: Spring semester begins
Monday, Wednesday, Friday:
8-8:50 Probability and Statistics 128

To add to that..

Those 13 days, I will have Speech from 9AM-12:45PM. UGH! Oh well..better to get it done now...than later.

So these are the classes I'm considering next year:
All classes level 3 (modified academic) unless otherwise noted
Geometry
Physics
Communication Tech
Home Improvement/Car Care
Cooperative work education
Individual studies (level 5)
Right now it's planned that I leave two periods early (at 12:52 PM) if I can get a job by next year.

Life in NJ sounds pretty easy when it comes to academics. Here in Michigan, no student is allowed to have any hours without anything scheduled, and of course, the state tightened academic requirements starting at the class of 2011 (my class)

Not really. NJ has very tough academic standards when it comes to grading and standardized testing. What are the new academic requirements for NJ?
-
Yeah, NJ is only getting worse. Beginning next year, the English HSPA prep courses will no longer count as an English course but instead an elective. So if you struggle with that stuff, you'll have to take BOTH a HSPA English and regular English course (fortunately I don't have to take the HSPA so I don't have to worry about it). As well, they did away with Pre-Algebra and require passing of Algebra 1 before graduation. The list goes on and on...
-
I took Algebra 1 last year as an 8th grader and it was tough.
But here in Florida it goes like this: 8th: Pre-Algebra (Regular), Algebra 1 (Regular), or Algebra 1 Honors (for those super-smart people); 9th: Algebra 1 (Regular), Algebra 1 (Honors), Geometry (Regular) (what I'm in), or Geometry (Honors); 10th: Geometry (Regular), Geometry (Honors), Algebra 2 (Regular), or Algebra 2 (Honors).
-
lol, I dunno why I didn't make it to Algebra 1 until now. I have a 99% in that class so far, hehe. :P

Oh wow it makes sense now. And the HSPA is one of the hardest tests in teh nation according to many teachers who said it.

My high school in WV requires four math classes before graduation, and two of them must be Algebra I and higher. I'm pretty sure those standards were still in place when I was a student there. I imagine some of you have even higher standards to meet.

Only three each of math, sciences, and history classes are required in NJ. Then we need four English courses, two history courses, world cultures, and at least one visual/performing arts and practical arts course.

Don't you pick courses before summer for the next school year?
-
Yes but I usually don't get my actual schedule until the last minute.
-
For my 9th Grade year i signed up to take courses for Meteorology, but I don't get a schedule until the week before school starts.

I wasn't aware that high schools even offer that course. Usually meteorology is covered in Earth Science

None of the schools do that here :( In fact most people I know/knew in school hate meteorology and wish they didn't have to learn the aspects of it in some science courses

Well there isn't an actual meteorology class, but in that course you take alot of sciences and math based around meteorology. Thats Just what you tell them what you want to have as a career and they put you in classes that will help you get there.

Most people in my COLLEGE LEVEL Meteorology course hate meteorology and wish they didn't have to learn the aspects of it :P I, of course, loved it!
My high school did not have any course for meteorology, but Earth Science did cover some basis.
-
I didn't have a Meteorology class in high school either. It was just wrapped up in Earth Science as one whole chapter during my 8th grade year. TWC had so many great educational specials in the 90s that I already knew just about everything when I reached that chapter. :P
-
About a quarter of my Earth science class, which I took freshman year, covered meteorology and atmospheric science, so I enjoyed that. I also always get the opportunity to learn the aspects of weather when we prepare our weather forecasts in the studio everyday. :P

That's exactly what I had when I was a senior. I was able to leave school right after lunchtime to get to werk. But my school acted like a complete :censored: because they thought I was ditching. And my werkplace was right across the street!! <_<

That's good your lunch is 25 minutes. It's 40 minutes in my school and it is way too long for lunch. Everyone else even agrees that a 40 min Lunch is a bit too long but oh well, at least you can finish your homework in case you didn't do it the night before.
-
I'd take a 40 minute lunch... mine's 25 minutes which IMO is too short, especially when a lot of people are waiting in line for lunch.
-
2010-2011...
1. AP World History
2. TV Production 1
3. Chemistry 1 Honors
4. English 2 Honors

3.) PE II with Mr. Wiegmann (too early)
Division (Homeroom)
4.) Lunch (same period as last year, and I like it this early)
5.) World Studies with Mrs. Swope-Clotworthy
6.) Advanced Algebra with Trigonometry with Mr. Nunn
7.) Chemistry with Ms. Smith
8.) American Literature with Ms. McClinton (English II)
-
Having PE early in the morning is the best thing ever. especially when you have it 1st or 2nd. Because you don't have to worry about it later in the day! :)

Kindly disagree... PE in the morning sucks... the weather may be cooler but then you burn your breakfast up and starve half to death until lunchtime (which is anywhere from 10:06am-1:14pm here).

Finally got my finalized schedule. Yep, I'm gonna be up to my face in homework. Classes are full-year unless otherwise stated.
1) Marching/Symphonic Band (Long)
2) Honors Biology I (Huff)
3) Honors Algebra III (Henry)
4) Honors English II (Joiner)
5) German II (Plowick)
6) Health (Long) (1st sem.) / Computer Applications (Ross) (2nd sem.)
7) AP U.S. History (Rackley)
Computer Applications is literally just a filler class for me. I'm going to "learn" how to use PowerPoint, Excel, etc. <_<
-
I remember when I was making my schedule for my first semester as a freshman. Actually, the whole room had the same problem. We were so used to high school, where all the classes are crammed together one right after another, that that's how we set our schedules up. The advisors had to explain to us that we actually need breaks in between our classes - they're much longer than in high school and there's a lot more work.
In the end, I did pretty well with my schedules. Fridays always had one or maybe two classes, if any. In fact, during my freshman year, my only Friday class was a required academic writing class. The professor even admitted to me that he had nothing to teach me. I already knew how to write reports of all kinds, bibliographies, footnotes, etc., how to do research, how to properly present my work, and so on, so he just gave me the assigned work and the due dates and let me avoid coming to class. I only had to show up to turn in my work, get the next assignment, and participate in any required group work whenever we had some.
At the end of my final paper for the class in May, the professor even wrote next to my grade that he felt this class was a waste for me, since I already knew how to do everything before I even started. But it truly shocked me that I was in a room of young adults that just did not know how to complete a research project from beginning to end. I learned that kind of stuff in elementary school!!
-
I forgot to mention - most of my classes dealt with linguistics, sociology, and political science. Anything else was either for my own enjoyment or to fulfill graduation requirements.
Classes I disliked were truly few and far between. The anthopology class I had during my senior year was pretty bad, but the teacher wasn't a good one. She was quite disorganized, gave ZERO inspiration, and, to top it all off, was pretty arrogant. My Biology II professor, though enthusiastic, was quite old and in poor health (but had tenure, so the school was stuck with her), so we sat around watching educational films all the time.

Only 11 hours? That's a nice schedule! The least I had was 13 and I found that challenging. :P
I'm taking 17 this semester. I always get overwhelmed by the numbers, but I have one friend taking 19. She crazy.

My school uses Edline as well, and no that isn't Edline.
-
Actually, that is Edline.

Actually, that is Edline.
Hmm, interesting, because my school's Edline page looks nothing like that when viewing classes
-
Hmm...maybe it goes by school? That's odd, though.

It's actually two more than the last two semesters, but that's only because of the lab periods. I can only take 3 classes a semester for now due to other commitments.
-
I am absolutely crazy, and taking 21 credits. But, technically it's only 19 since I took one of them this summer, just signed for the fall (it's an internship). All I have to do for the internship is write a report about my experience and turn it in. No big deal.
Best of luck to everyone!

Yes, I'm essentially taking a year's worth of classes in half the time. May God have mercy on my soul.
-
I would take summer classes if my school didn't offer them at 2 days a week, 4 hours each. Don't have that kind of attention span...
-
I'm only taking one Summer class and that's Introduction to Video Production on Tuesdays/Thursdays from 10:10am to 1pm.

Wow, Pre-Calculus during your sophomore year? :o I didn't take that until my junior year, I won't disclose my grade, I'll just say I'm glad I made it through it okay. :P
-
I am planning to take calc 2 in the summer at my local community college. Unfortunately, it's a 2 hour commute by bus so I would have to wake up at 6:30 4 mornings a week for it.
-
Wow, Pre-Calculus during your sophomore year? :o I didn't take that until my junior year, I won't disclose my grade, I'll just say I'm glad I made it through it okay. :P
Yes. I've been in accelerated classes since first grade and double accelerated classes since 6th grade. I had a choice to take AP Calculus 1 my junior year, but decided to do AP Statistics. May do AP Calculus my senior year, not sure if I can handle it at this point. I don't even have to take math anymore, I already got all the math credits I need to graduate in my freshman year. Took Algebra II/Trigonometry last year.
-
Oh you gifted people... I wish I made it farther than geometry in high school. <_<
I'm still taking pre-college level math courses as I speak.
-
I took precalc in my freshmen year second semester lol. I don't need anymore math classes besides Statistics and Calc II for the Computer Science major
