I've never really done web-camming, and all I have is a really crappy camera we got for free when we signed up with Comcast for the first time (2004!). So what's a decent web cam these days?
-
Bueller? Surely some of you must use web cams...
-
I use a Microsoft LifeCam VX-5000.

There are alot of webcams here depending on the price (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?_dyncharset=ISO-8859-1&id=pcmcat170900050018&type=category&usc=abcat0500000&cp=1&sp=%2Bcurrentprice+skuid&nrp=15&qp=crootcategoryid%23%23-1%23%23-1~~q70726f63657373696e6774696d653a3e313930302d30312d3031~~cabcat0500000%23%230%23%231qf~~cabcat0515000%23%230%23%23j1~~cabcat0515046%23%230%23%233~~ncpcmcat170900050018%23%230%23%233&pagetype=listing)
Or this one (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=9055274&type=product&id=1218015169097)
i hope you find the one you want Gil, good luck.

Woah, someone planning on shakin' their money-maker for the worldwide web?

Never really had a use for a webcam but if I were to get one I'd buy anything Logitech, that's always been my favorite brand.

I have a Microsoft LifeCam VX-1000. IMO I really dont like how it looks. I heard Logitech is better. I certainly recommend that.
