If you are/were in school and/or college, what was your worst subject? I flunked and still am bad at Algebra.
-
I picked English / Reading.. I always found that so pointless and boring...
On another note, I noticed Gym wasnt on the list :P
-
That's why I put other.
-
English/Reading.
-
English/reading. I am not good at remembering what I read or listened, and most of the time I get the lowest grade in those subjects (though last year I got A's all four marking periods for that subject).
-
2 subjects for me:
Math - I was never good at it
English/Reading - Its too easy for me, so i get bored, and drift off, and don't hear anything the teacher says.

It's the opposite for me. Many of the topics from my ninth grade math class last year were stuff I learned as far back as third grade. It was so boring I wasn't paying attention half the time.
-
Mine was math. I never got past Algebra 1. If I wouldn't have dropped out I would've probably been the only senior in an Algebra 1 class. :D
-
I LOVE algebra!!! I was first taught Algebra in 4th grade! most place don't start Algebra until middle school, or even high school.
-
I hated it. I hope I never see another math problem again after this damn GED test. :D

haha, i doubt that will ever happen. Math is all around us
-
Yeah well it won't be around me. :D

How do you plan to work that one? :D
"Sir, here's your change"
"I DONT WANT IT!!! LEAVE ME ALONE!!"
-
Something like that.
*wishes Gil didn't need to have the last word EVERY time*
-
It had to be College English. I hate doing term papers, especially when the professor picks it apart and find every single problem. Most papers have to be done by hand first before a computerized rough draft can be submitted.
-
I'll take a term paper any day over a test on any subject in algebra. :D
-
I definitely would too! :D
-
I hate algebra as well as gym, but gym is to keep you healthy.
-
I like gym. i love getting excercise, it feels really good  Though this year, i have Gym right after lunch :x

I don't know if gym after lunch is a good idea. You could throw up pretty easily. :-\
-
Well i had the same thing 2 years ago, and i've never thrown up.. So i doubt i would.
-
English/Reading. I hate everything about it....especially the reading. I dont comprehend well, usually because i am not into the whole reading thing.
English is fine though... except i hate doing the parts of a sentence and grammer crap.
I doesn't understand why those peoples would make us go through that darn grammer crap
-
I picked math...I have always struggled with math. :-\

So do I, especially algebra.
-
Math has been my favorite subject since the 4th grade, so much that I finished Pre-Calculus and Calculus prior to my high school graduation. I love numbers period.
-
Wow,I wish I was that good. I wouldn't be stressing right now over the math part of the GED test if I was that good at math. :D
-
just use a calculator.
-
Calculus was a little challenging, though. I remember doing the first exam for the subject and I had a "C" on it, which I was a little surprised. I, ultimately tightened up and had an A- overall average, which kept my honors points added to my existing GPA.
-
just use a calculator.
Speaking of which, I remembered the days when calculators were banned in my school district until I was in Algebra I was in the 9th grade.
-
Wow..thats just insane..
-
just use a calculator.
Only allowed to use a calculator for half the test. What purpose would would allowing the use of a calculator for the entire test serve?

Well for one thing, you'd definitely pass :D
-
I use a calculator whenevr the teacher passes it out for the test. I use the calculator to check and answer my questions! :D
-
Mine is Gym. I know it's to keep you healthy, but all we do is sports, and I hate sports. I'm really good in the other subjects, particularly science. 8)
-
I don't like gym either. I can't exercise with a bad hip!

Well I have to do in 8 hours what it takes you 12 years to do-earn my diploma. On such an important test, calculator use is undoubtedly very limited.

I have bad asthma, so PE is really hard sometimes.

I had joint problems from birth so PE for me can get pretty challenging often.

I voted for 'Other'
In High School, it was Speech class (where you learn to do various presentations in front of people); I was always nervous.
In College, it was any class dealing with Java Programming (teachers were not that great) - though I don't think I would mind Java now, it doesn't seem too bad.
