Hi, Everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope everyone has a fantastic day today and you all enjoy your needed rest and dinner with your family's. I haven't been on the forum quite so much lately, but I just wanted to let all of you know how glad I am to be able to talk with some of you and to participate in this community. If it was not for all of our administrators and moderators here, we would not all be able to connect and discuss our passion for weather and TWC. I would personally like to thank all of you who keep this forum up and running to allow us to be here. Where would some of us be without you all? Again, I hope all of you have a great day! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!  B)

I appreciate hearing it from you, Donovan. :thumbsup:  It seems like every time the holidays roll around, I get rather depressed as I don't have many friends outside of you all here.  It becomes a very lonely time for me when I have to work and not see my family as much as you all do.  You probably noticed my tone lately has changed after seeing everyone else with wonderful Thanksgiving ideas that I could only wish for in my own life. :(

So, I did some Black Friday shopping, and I am now the proud owner of a 5th-gen iPod touch (blue). :D I wanted since it first came out, but I changed my mind once the iPad mini came out. Then, I changed my mind again, and I decided that I preferred the iPod all along. :P I'm absolutely loving it! :)

So, the Powerball is now worth half a billion, excluding taxes. If you took the lump sum and then had taxes deducted, you would have just over $212 million dollars in your bank account.

Don't know about you, but I'm sure gonna buy a ticket just so I can have a stake. What would you do with half a billion dollars?

Hmm, let's see...

- Well, I would first start off sharing some with the closest members of my family, especially my grandmother, it's the very least I can do for her. :happy:
- I would probably buy me a really nice house, not necessarily a mansion, just a really nice place to stay.
- A car (or two...or three) :P
- I would donate a portion to various charities.
- I would invest some money into starting my own internet TV production company where I can start producing my own cartoon series and hire cartoonists/animators, writers, etc. to help me in producing them. :D
-What's left I would put away for safe keeping.

Um, that's it I think.

If you bought a ticket in Arizona or Missouri, you have a chance as those were the two states where the winning Powerball tickets were sold.
