Uploading 10+ minute videos onto YouTube
« on: August 05, 2008, 10:54:57 AM »
How are you able to upload videos longer then ten minutes onto YouTube? I've seen some people that are able to do this, but it doesn't allow me to.

they must've uploaded those videos before the 10 minute limit was set.

That's strange. I remember having one of those, and it said there wasn't a limit.

There's no such thing as "signing up" for a director account anymore - all you have to do is go into your profile and change your channel type to Director. And even still, you'll have the 10 minute limit.

The only way I believe you can upload 10+ minute videos is if you have a director account that you signed up for several years ago. Otherwise, you're out of luck.

Yeah, that would've been about 2 years ago. I didn't know they changed it since then.

So there basically is no way I could upload 10+ minute videos?
