Title: Scale of the Universe
Post by: phw115wvwx on February 17, 2012, 12:49:36 PM
I was given a link to a unique project that a 9th grader in CA made for fun.  He wanted to do a scale comparison of everything in the universe from the largest to the smallest possible lengths.  It takes a few minutes to load the Flash application, but the finished product is incredible.  It's actually his sequel project as his first one was limited in information.  The whole thing really gives you a perspective about everything:

Feel free to discuss as there's a ton of information in this link. B)

Impressive. Not only the data presented in the applet, but the coding involved in the applet itself; don't think I could've ever envisioned coding something like at 14 (or even now for that matter!). Kudos to these kids.
