Is there a way to disable the text box size limit in Openoffice Impress?

OO doesn't work too well on my Laptop... the colors are all retarded.

My copy of Openoffice 2.4 works just fine.

Text animation however is choppy :hammer:

I'll try and download it again when I get home. Maybe it is just the download... or maybe my computer... Probabally my computer.
