Title: Next US President?

But really, anyone but Bush.

It'd be odd if Clinton were to win..I think I heard that it would be 28 years (consecutive) that a bush or clinton were in the white house (or had president tagged on their name)

Post by: lfmusiclover on September 07, 2007, 11:22:17 PM: I don't see how someone reached that conclusion. Bush was elected to office in I beleive 1989, which makes 18 years so far. Hillary would have to serve the maximum two terms in order for their to ahve been a Bush or Clinton in office for 28 consecutive years.

Correct. Clinton was the Governor of Arkansas before he became president.
