Hello,
Thanks for the warm welcome I received in the other thread.
My names Dave. I grew up in NJ, but moved to KY for about 15 years now. The weather here in KY is much more interesting than NJ. Since I was young I have been fascinated with the weather. Two years ago my wife got me a personal weather station for Christmas and I notices that I could upload my info to the internet. Getting carried away with things like I usually do, now I have a full blown website serving my local community - Cave Country Weather. com.

I will have to read a bit around here to get to know you guys.

Welcome to the forum and welcome to my world...not the biggest fan of NJ either. Well weatherwise is one of the reasons

I started out with a LaCrosse 2310 station, but went through 3 of them in a year and a half. Just bought the Davis Vantage Pro 2 wireless 4 months ago and I really like it. I believe that it is the same as yours except with out the solar and UV. I hope to add these sensors in the future.

The website is relatively cheep. The software is $70 and web-hosting is $20 per year. The template is free. (or donation) If you are interested I can point you in the right direction.

You and Martin both have the same wireless weather station that I want to own someday.  Anyway, welcome to the forums, Dave! B)

Hi!

My Name Is Trevor. I'm A "Newbie". Other Than Weather And TWC, I Am Interested In Tornado Sirens, Fire Alarms, Computers, And Elevators. I Live In Southaven, MS, Just South Of Memphis, TN. I Have DirecTV, So I Get The Satellite Local Forecast From Channel 362. I Have 2 YouTube Accounts. The One For TWC Videos Is TWCFreak. The One For All Of My Other Videos Is Firealarm211. I Am A Meterologist On Bolt Weather. I only Have 1 Question: How Do You Get A Personalized LDL Bar? I Don't Have PPT, So I Made One On Paint. It Looked OK. I Went To Put It Into My Signature, And It Was HUGE! It Took Up The Whole Page!

Thanks,
Trevor Birchett
TWC Lover Since 2007

Hey Trevor! Glad you joined the forums. Many of the LDL images you see were created by Jesse (jtmal0723). You can try sending him a PM and he can probably make one for you. :)

Hey Drobbins, I'm from NJ also... where in the state did you live?

Hello! Just discovered this site, didn't know there was such a huge TWC and Weatherstar/scan/XL/Intellistar fan base! and I thought I was weird for liking that stuff ;p  Anyway, I am James.  Love severe weather and weatherscan.  Eagerly awaiting a username and password so I can play around with the emulator since I don't get that channel.  In the meantime, how's it going to those who read this?
