Hi Everyone,

I am a TWC fanatic, I found this site several months ago and for some reason, never registered.  SO, hello to all and I hope that the rest of you love TWC as much as I do.
I knew that I was a TWC nut when I watched Local Forecasts instead of cartoons as a kid.

Okay, so I'm technically not a new member, but I sure feel like one. ;) I've been on hiatus for about… what was it?… at least 6, 7, 8 years?! And now I've finally found my way back to this forum and my account, which amazingly is still here! Checking out a few videos on the site, and I guess I'll now see if I can somehow manage to catch up on the last half-decade's worth of forum posts. :P

Hey Travis, welcome

You might not know this, but this forum isn't technically the same TWC Classics forum. The memberbase was merged into the existing TWC Today forum in April 2010 and after the merge, Matt closed posting on the TWC Classics forum, to make it a read-only forum. However, months later, he removed the old TWC Classics forum and any ongoing classic discussion has just been moved here, making the TWC Today & TWC Classics Forum.

Anyways, hope you enjoy it!
I've gone off on a journey to be a moderator at another forum, but this place will forever remain home for me~

Ah, I see. I noticed there was apparently some merge that had taken place, and the older posts unfortunately don't appear to be here anymore. I haven't yet looked around much at this forum or the site, so I still have a lot to catch up on.

Hey Travis!! Welcome back!! As Zach already explained, activity on my forum went way down a few years ago, so I decided to bring everyone that was left over here, where there was more discussion. I don't recall ever merging threads, though. I tried to bring back the old forum, so some could do research, but the backup I had was bad. Drop me a line sometime, I'd love to hear about what you've been up to! :D

Welcome to the forums, Travis!  Matt and Zach explained the situation quite well, so I hope you're able to enjoy what we do have here.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to introduce myself and say how much I enjoy the site, I have been a Weather Channel fan (well, pre NBC anyway) since the late '80's, it's good to know that there are so many other Weather Channel fans out there!

Hello good people. I am a retired (25 1/2 years) detective, (began a lowly trooper.) Retired storm spotter, full-time farmer, pain in the rump. Photographer, still watch the skies, still keep weather diaries, even at 54. The weather is my hobby, I reckon. Most folks just call me Junior.

Hello Everyone, my name is boyercam and I would like to introduce myself to these forums, now, there is one thing I must clear up from the start, I am english (you may have worked that out already) and I live in england. Now let me explain myself for invading your forums, there are two reasons why I am here:

1. I am interested about the weather and I have a professional weather station on the side of my house.
2. I am interested in WxStar emulations (not forgetting intellistar) and wonder why we don't have it in the UK (the main reason probably being that we don't have the weather channel on our little island)

So I will probably be making UK based emulations and I hope that no confusion occurs between the English (US) and the English (UK) language boundary.
P.S I'm having problems getting onto your forums as apparently I have been Spamming although I have never been to this site before. I'm having to post this through a proxy. Could a admin help me with this problem?
