SOME people in my immediate area think it's lovely to start jack-hammering and sawing at 8:30 on a Saturday morning....Others enjoy having their lawn mowing people come around 8
What's worse is having ALL of that at the same time. A steady wall of noise.
What ever happened to common courtesy?
This is why I hate people, and the suburbs....
-
That's like How I don't even like it when people don't fix blown gaskets or fix slipping belts in their cars. :o
-
8:30? Well, there are some people who start using saws and my next door neighbor lets his dog out and bark at people at 6:00! There should be a rule where people shouldn't do anything loud (like letting their dogs out or cutting the grass) until say 9:00 on weekends. Not everyone are early birds on weekends, you know.
-
Am I the only one living in a suburb that's quiet on mornings and weekends?
-
My neighborhood is a complete joke during the summers. All the tourists come to the shore for summer vacation. They let their dogs bark and children scream as loud as a jackhammer at 7 in the morning

Ah yes, that's what I HATE about the shore. There are people that talk out on their front porch at 3AM too.

Yeah plus there are TOO MANY PEOPLE in the shore!! I can't find a parking spot even in front of my home and the traffic is HORRIBLE.

Yes.

Actually, my suburb is quiet on mornings & weekend mornings. It's not quiet on weekend afternoons, because there's always parties near my house

Marlton is a pretty quiet neighborhood. Bensalem on the other hand is noisy, particularly in the section I live in. I still like Bensalem better though, since there are much more things to do here than in Marlton, and the people here are nicer.

Although I gotta admit...the southern part of Irving was LOUD at 1AM, especially at some apartment complexes where some people throw late night parties! That is until the City of Irving's Problem Solving Team took matters into their own hands sice 2006.
-
I know how you feel  In fact, I wish nothing went on during weekend mornings, other than TV and sleeping in!
-
Where I used to live, there were power tools going off as early as 7:00. A law was passed in that country banning using those tools until 9:00. Where I live now, I hear no power tools in the morning.

The neighborhood I live in. One of my neighbors who lives across the street from me is annoying or should I say his son was/used to be annoying. My mom and dad had to deal with his boombox going off/sounding at 6:00 in the morning. He also threw a lot of wild late night parties.
He doesn't do that stuff anymore. The neighbor who lives there is still annoying by letting his annoying dog out so it can bark at everyone.

Kinda an old thread. :ermm:
-
There are plenty of noise laws not nobody obeys them. Hence why I have the non emergency police number in my head.

Again, the main rule is you are completely allowed to bump an old thread as long as what you're posting is relevant to the discussion, and not a smiley or a "YES I AGREE" or "NO I DISAGREE" etc... remember... Dates are your friend!

Jesse, mind your boundaries please.
As Jesse said, as long as you have something worthwhile to add age is not an issue.
