Ha, mine's better. :P (J/K) Mine is 200 MHz faster than yours and has more RAM, though yours has a larger HD than mine. I have the "early 2004" model that I got refurbished from apple.com.
-
No matter what, it's still fast and runs beautifully. I haven't used Mac OS X in years.

What's that little sticker with the barcode on the lid?

I guess it's just the warehouse inventory ID. I bought it from a computer resaler from Sacramento called PowerON. They are gaining recognition.

I have that same mouse. It's a good one.
-
Likewise, its an overall good mouse! lol
-
LOL, good mouse or not, its awful funny to see a PC mouse on a Mac, especially when the user of said Mac talks them up to be such wonderful things. :rofl2:

One of my teachers at my school has an iBook G4 (all the teachers do, the school gave all the teachers iBook G4's about 3 years ago or so), and she uses an MS mouse on it because the touchpad is broken. I've actually used the teacher iBook G4's before (not the one with the broken touchpad, though), and it's a 12 inch like Gil's, and they are QUITE small, especially now I've gotten used to my 15.4" Dell laptop.

How much does the ibook cost?

Apple doesn't make iBooks anymore. ;) However, you can find them (like Gil did) on sites such as eBay.

why that sucks :( I always enjoyed Apple's computers. Very superior quality

Yup, itsd a great mouse. I don't own an Apple USB mouse, and i preffer it better than trackpads, but it works great nonetheless. iBooks were ok, but I would definitely chose a PowerBook over one. Apple hasn't made iBooks since early 2006...

Macs have gone downhill in recent years. What I dislike about OS X is that it lacks customizability (i.e. you can't change the fonts or color of the title bars without buying software), there are not a lot of good programs like AIM, WMP, or WMM that are still available for Mac, and many programs like Firefox are very buggy.
-
I disagree. OS X is extremely customizable, and I have used many good third party apps. My favorite IM app is Adium.
-
I gotta admit...I was at Best Buy and spend an hour playing with the Macs at their Apple terminal.
Next computer I buy will be a Mac.

That's what I plan to do as well. I've had experience with Macs and the Mac OS X operating system for quite some time, and I would love to use one as my main computer.

I think the Mac is the greatest computer product ever built! :worship:
