I remember paying only $0.97 for gas in the late 90's. Even premium was only like $1.03. I miss those days. :(

I remember in 2000 regular unleaded at my local Gulf was ~$1.34

Oil slipped to 80 bucks/bbl. We may end up falling below that before markets close for the weekend.

Went by two of the gas stations right in town here, and they were down to $2.99!

Oil finished the day at $77.70/barrel. It took a heck of a plunge today.  :yes:

So far oil had risen $3.30 (4%) to $81, likely as a result to the sudden rise in stocks.

Prices here have fallen to as low as $2.68.

My mom saw a gas station yesterday that went from $2.59 in the morning down to $2.46!

Over on the Iowa side I'ves seen prices as low as $2.35.  Here on the Illinois side it's more around $2.45ish (I think)  Havn't been really paying much attention to it lately..oddly.  In fact, I better fill gas soon.

Crude oil now $61.

The price for one gas station here in NJ is... $1.99?!  :faint:

Otherwise were ~2.25-2.30 in most places here.

But still.. $1.99!
