Wow.  :doh2:  I've always heard about California, and Chevron itself when found in other states, having reputations for high gas prices, but this just about takes the cake.

For the record, mine's dropped a penny to $3.34.

$3.33 today.  A one-cent drop may not be much, but it beats the alternative of a price increase.

If we're using so much less, why does it still cost so much?   :dunno:

Other countries, like China and India, are using more to pick up the slack.  In addition, people that don't want to play the slots stocks find that oil is a safe bet and so they trade in it instead.  Either one of these can cause prices to stay high.

$2.31 on average here in the Atlanta area. There's been a few areas in N. GA reporting gas prices below $2 since before Christmas. We may have a shot at $2 gas here too, hopefully.

$2.20 here. The oil industry is tricking us. Within a few months I guarantee you they'll spike over a dollar again. Keep in mind these low prices aren't good for the booming economy either...
