What are some of your favorite fast food/restaurants? Mine are:
Culver's (was a regional burger chain...now sorta national)
Fazoli's (mmmm...breadsticks)
Hacienda (local mexican chain)
And yours?
-
Burger King
Subway
Cici's Pizza
-
I don't eat fast food often, but I love Subway and Quizno's (if you call that fast food), and occasionally Taco Bell and KFC.
-
Wendy's, love their burgers. Quiznos serves excellent salads and subs and Popeye's Chicken and Biscuits. their fried chicken is fresh and not soaked in oil like KFC.
-
I absolutely love SUBWAY! I could eat there everyday and NEVER get sick of it.
I also like Burger King, but rarely eat there.
Long John Silver & A&W (combined into one here).
That's pretty much it..
-
Everything. LOL
Arby's
Long John Silver & A&W
Wendy's
McDonalds (a little)
Taco Bell
KFC
Subway
Any pizza place.
I love food.
-
I'm with Tyler. But my list is as follows:
Pizza Hut
McDonalds
Roy Rogers
Hardees
Wendys
Burger King
Dairy Queen
Checkers
Papa John's
Dominos
And on, and on, and on.
-

Me too!

Long John Silver & A&W
I liked their food as well, but when they went under bankrupcy in the late 90's all of the ones here closed. They did however recently opened a Long John Silvers/Taco Bell combo not far from here. I haven't been there though.
-
I didn't even think of Pizza Places. Definitely Papa Johns and Happy Joes (Happy Joes is local, I think-- inventer of the Taco Pizza )
-
i like Dominoes.
-
Long John's has a few combos around here... 2 LJS A&W, LJS & KFC, and LJS & Pizza Hut. I like the combined locations, I order from both menus. :P
-
Wendy's, Subway, Pizza Hut (though I rarely eat there since there are closer pizza places), and Big Boy's are at the top of my list.
-
Pizza Hut - I don't eat it often the closest one is pretty far.
Papa Johns (only a few minutes away)
Mc Donalds
Buger King
Wendy's
Taco Bell
Popeyes
Red Lobster
Ruby Tuesday
and I think that's it.
-
Applebees.
Sonic.
Western Sizzlin.
-
Wait, is this a thread for any restaurant or just fast food?
-
Read the title:
Favorite Restaurants/Fast Food

Read the title:

Yeah but what does that mean, Einstein. :whistling:
-
I like many fast food places, but Taco Bell is probably my favorite. Pizza Hut would have to be my favorite pizza fast food place.

Steak 'N' Shake - nuff said. :D
-
Oh, I forgot Sonic! I would eat at them all the time down south, and then last year they filly opened up their first one in the Pittsburgh area (and 5 minutes from my house!). They're supposed to open up more in the area by next year, IIRC.
I also love IHOP and Cracker Barrel. Sadly, there's NO IHOP's around here, and only a two Cracker Barrel's way south of me. I'm so sick of seeing IHOP commercials when there's none around here!I wish they'd open up one of both of these up at the mall at Pittsburgh Mills.
-
Steak 'N' Shake - nuff said. :D
Mmmmm....Frisco melts....mmmmmmm....
I also love IHOP and Cracker Barrel.
Never been to IHOP, but sweet mother yes on Cracker Barrel.

Ah, I forgot about Roy Rogers. I liked it there, but I only know of one Roy Rogers here and that is located at a rest stop down at the Garden State Parkway. I've only been there once in 2002.
As for Dairy Queen, all I've had there are their ice cream products and their hot dogs. I heard they had good hamburgers, but I don't see burgers listed on the menu at the DQ I go to. They do list chicken sandwiches, fries, hot dogs, and a few other hot stuff. I'm assuming the menu varies by region/location.

There used to be Roy Rogers all over the place here, but no longer. The last time I went to Roy Rogers was several years ago, and it was in Harford County. There used to be a RR right up the street from me (prior to being RR it was Hardees), and there used to be another one near Eastpoint Mall, also not far away. There are a number of Roy Roger's on the Eastern Shore as I recall, from my many trips to OC.
-
I've only been to a Roy Rodgers once, in New Jersey. I was pretty young, so I don't remember it very well.
-
Most of the Roy Rogers that were here closed in the early-mid 90's and became Boston Markets.
-
Pub 99 Restraunt
With the 99, the Sox and the Dunkin' Donuts, I bet you're from Boston. The 99 brings back memories. I lived in Canton and I moved to AZ.
-
In N' Out
McDonalds
Pasta Pomodoro
Coco's
California Pizza Kitchen
Burger King
Sonic
Chick-Fil-A
Island's
Taco Bell
Subway
Pizza Hut
KFC
-
My complete list:
National Chains:
Ruby Tuesday's
TGI Fridays
Chili's
Bertucci's
Red Lobster
Texas Roadhouse
Outback Steakhouse
McDonald's (haven't eaten there in years though)
Burger King
Olive Garden
Macaroni Grill
Dairy Queen
Friendly's (only their ice cream)
Arby's
Roy Rogers
Long John Silvers (haven't been there since the late 90's)
Taco Bell
KFC
Chick-Fil-A
Pizza Hut
Papa John's
Subway
Quizno's Sub
Local/Regional Chains:
99
Charley's Grilled Subs
Boston Market
And many more. As you guys see, I eat everything. :P
-
Local/Regional Chains:
Boston Market
Most definitely not local/regional. They are national. I wish they were closer to my area, though...their food is dang good.
-
Yuck. I got food poisoning from eating at the Boston Market.
-
KFC is alot better than Boston Market.
-
I like Popeyes better than KFC. They have awesome biscuits.
-

Me too.
-
Popeyes's biscuits have just the right about of salt. They're always warm, soft, and have that buttermilk taste.
Popeye's Chicken is good too! I love chicken it;s not soggy and oily like KFC chicken because they actually prepare the chicken fresh to order.
-
I don't know that we have Popeye's here, but what I do know is that KFC's biscuts are hard to beat.
-
Steak 'N' Shake - nuff said. :D
Almost forgot about Steak 'N' Shake.
-
The first time I been to Steak 'N' Shake was two weeks ago and they are really good.
-

Yes their biscuits are definitely good. There's a Popeyes right up the street from here that's been here for as long as I can remember, but I've never been there.
As for Boston Market, there used to be a lot around here, but in the early 00's a good portion of them closed. There's still several in South Jersey, but here in Bensalem the nearest Boston Market (that has a nice environment) is now 20-30 minutes up north.
-
I agree with you guys. KFC's biscuits are far superior to Popeye's.
-
KFC's chicken sucks balls compared to Popeyes' chicken. :twothumbs:
-

We were talking about how superior Popeyes Biscuits are.:P

99 was around for that long? We didn't get any here until 2005. They must of been a much smaller chain back then.

99? Never heard of it before.

Okay, sorry, I know this thread is like 11 months old..:P
Wendy's chicken wings are just their chicken nuggets dipped in sauce. gross.
I don't think fast food restaurants can pull off wings very well. The fast food chain I work at (Checkers/Rallys) has the classic chicken wings, but they don't sell very good.
--- yeah just thought I'd put that out there :P -----
So, whose wings do you like better
BDubs (Buffalo Wild Wings) or Hooters?
-
We don't have either of them here, but according to my BF, he says Hooters is the best.
Anyways, since this thread is back up (and I know nothing about it) Let me say my favorite restaurants.
 I LOVE Carl's Jr! Gotta love their chicken sandwiches and fries. Also their Western Bacon Cheeseburger..mmmm
 I also love going to Olive Garden during special events (graduation, birthdays, etc) I love their italian food.
B) At my hometown (San Bernardino/Colton), there's a pizza place called "Robin Hood's Pizza". They serve the BEST pizza in the whole county! Also their chicken wings FTW!
 The only restaurant I hate is McDonalds. All I can say is :footinmouth:

I used to love McDonalds when I was younger, but like most fast food places it's
I rather eat out of a garbage bin. I still love fast food restaurants like Chick-Fil-A though.
-
A lot of people seem to hate McDonald's. Now I'm not saying that I like it or anything, but I don't despise it with all my might either. The food there is average, and if I was in an airport or something with only that restuarant, I would eat there. But if I had a choice of several restaurants with McDonald's as a choice, I would probably choose something else.
Also, has anyone ever heard of or been to Fazoli's Italian Fast Food Restaurant? I went there the other day and thought it was . The breadsticks were actually pretty good, but the main meal and was horrible. :footinmouth: IMO, Italian food shouldn't be fast food.
-
i <3 Outback's Bloomin onions.

I haven't been to Outback in so long. :( I really need to go again sometime soon...I think their food is pretty good.

I've only been there once. I love their breadsticks. The only one near me is in San Bernardino. :(

Gotta love Ground round, i miss their food! (http://www.groundround.com/home/assets/documents/ApprovedGRMenu.pdf)

Looking at that menu has made me very hungry! :P
-
I like all the big 3 fast food places, Wendy's, McDonalds, and BK. However I don't eat BK that much because nutritionally it is the worst of the three.
My new favorite is Buffalo Wild Wings (BW3s or BDubbs). I love their boneless wings! :thrilled:

There used to be a Fazoli's a few minutes from my house but it closed not that long ago. I think I only went there once and it was alright. If I want italian I'll go to Olive Garden... talk about good breadsticks!!

Some of you who live in the Southeastern states that touch the Atlantic may know this one: Shoney's.
They used to be in Tampa until the franchise went bankrupt in 1998. :(
What I liked about them was their buffet and the onion rings.
-
My fav place to eat is Chili's. Oh wait, I work there. :bleh:
-
Five Guys. End of discussion.

I sledomly eat BK, that's only like 2-3 times a year at best. I haven't eaten a McDonald's since 2003, however. I rarely eat at burger chains.
I do go to places like KFC, Taco Bell, Arby's, among others more often than the ones I mentioned above. <3 the beef n' cheddar sandwiches!
