I just wanted to ask. Does anyone like or dislike facebook's updated timeline profile?
-
I hate it. The only reason I use Facebook is to see what some friends are doing and the game Railworks team's new projects. Even then, I can't even see half of them because of the new timeline design hides 95% of all content posted. Yes, I know how to press "More Stories." Don't care for it and Facebook needs to do better.

Facebook SUCKS. Worse thing to ever have been invented in our technology world. No, no that isn't fair, Twitter sucks WORSE.

Somewhat agreed. Generally, I use them to waste time. The new profile sucks, as do almost all new FB features that we get over within a few weeks or months.

I started using Facebook in 2007 or 2008, and the changes that site have gone through would make it totally unrecognizable unless you lived through the changes as they happened.
Yes, everyone complains, but everyone also begrudgingly gets used to it. That's the control that technology has over us now. :)

I started using the timeline not long after it became available last fall. I've always liked it, to be honest.. and you're looking at a user who has had a Facebook since late 2006.
Oh, and Twitter is a joke.

I have never used FB or Twitter.

I agree. The thing I wish would happen is that facebook would change all users to the timeline profile, so that all of my friends' profiles looked the same. I joined facebook at that same time and I have learned to get used to all the changes you are talking about, even though I don't like it.
