Title: Earthquakes Jolt North Texas

Yes, you've read right. Two earthquakes were reported in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. One of them happens to be a 3.0 in Irving. The biggest laugh is I didn't feel it. :lol:

DALLAS, Texas (WFAA ABC 8/AP) — Two minor earthquakes shook the Dallas-Fort Worth area, but no significant damage was immediately reported Friday.

The U.S. Geological Survey says an earthquake with a 2.5 magnitude was reported at 11:25 p.m. Thursday, centered in the Grand Prairie area.

The agency says a slightly stronger quake, at 3.0 magnitude, occurred at 12:01 a.m. Friday, centered in the Irving area, about 10 miles west of Dallas.

It's a very weak earthquake. If it's magnitude 6 and strikes Dallas, then that's news. :biggrin:

That's true. Of course this event still left several residents of Irving scratching their heads.

Although a major earthquake in Downtown Dallas is highly unlikely, "It Could Happen Tomorrow".
