The only time I cut my lights and computers off, is when I go to sleep. That is 4-7 hours all on its own.
Hi Lamarr,

No way...what's the point of doing this if there's daylight? No one would turn on the lights in their homes during daylight hours anyways...

You are right, Local, according to http://www.earthhour.org/about/ , Earth Hour begins at 8:30 PM and ends at 9:30 PM. I am not sure if it applies to every time zone or a certain time zone. (When I mean every time zone, East Coast will have their hour, then three hours later West Coast will have their hour, etc)  :hmm:

It is indeed for 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM in your local time zone.

Why? That doesn't make sense.

They want people to turn off their lights for one hour to save energy and promote the concerns of climate change.  So, whenever it's 8:30 PM local time for you, you flip the lights off to observe this hour.  I'm not wild about this whole idea either for the reason I gave several posts ago here in this thread.

I'm not hyper nor excited about it either. Once I hear so much about it, then I get annoyed and I change my mind. Wish I could travel far far far away from a city that is definetly going to do it (aka El Centro).  <_< <_< <_< <_< <_< <_<

I burned tires and smoke detectors for my "earth hour".

Oh, and opened up a dozen bags of manure in my back yard.
