Are there any bowlers here?  I play occasionally.

A couple times a year with my family when we are able to have fun, i usually get between an 80 or a 110 per game.

This is too ironic!  Guess what I was doing while this topic was posted?  I was bowling with coworkers as part of my office's team in a Tuesday Night event competing against other teams in our community.  I don't bowl very well, but my handicap is so high that when I bowl above my average that I'm able to give our teams some wins like this evening.

I went bowling (candlepin) once... probably a little more than 20 years ago.  I didn't particularly enjoy it.

I've been bowling twice. The first time I bowled a strike and then walked away from the entire game with a 40.  :whistling: The second time I got around 140.

Your workplace has their own bowling team? That must be nice! B)

Hmmm...I used to bowl a lot when I was a kid...with bumpers... :P

Have not done it recently, though.

I'm good at bowling with bumpers on, but not without it.

I bowl usually about five times a year and always manage to walk out with a score of 50 or 60, I think once I made a 100-120. Here are some tips for the bowlers like me:
  • Stretch before the game and in-between games
  • Occasionally try to pop your knuckles
  • Remember (unless bowling competitively) that you aren't working for anything and it is just for fun
Those tips were used when I got the highest score mentioned.

I'm a bowler!! It's been almost a year since I last went. Need to fine-tune my skills one of these days.

The highest I scored was a 150 (after scoring a Turkey) back in 2009.

I can only throw a straight ball.  My highest score is 231 and have kept that score card.  Probably will never get that again.

My highest score was somewhere around 115 or so (can't exactly remember... but up in that range). I went bowling last about three weeks ago.
