Anyone getting up early tomorrow and going shopping?
-
No. Black Friday sucks
-
I'm not getting up too early. I really didn't see much of anything good. You'd think stores would cut prices a little more in these hard times. On a scale of 1-10, I'd give this years sale a 5. <_<
-
Some of the stores here are already having big holiday sales since Thanksgiving falls so late in the month this year.
-
Does shopping for a real X-Mas tree count?

I don't think so. They're around whether its Black Friday or not. :D
-
No, because it'll be dead before Christmas is actually here.
-
Black Friday in a mall or in a shopping market in a big city is asking for something scary. I braved the Black Friday rush a few years, and this year...I will be staying home and enjoying time with my family! I'll take care of the shopping later.
-

:rofl2:
We get are tree around this time of the year and keep it on our porch in water and its lush when we bring it in closer to christmas.
Anyways I plan to get a couple of deals later in the day but im not going to get into the madness in the morning
-
Most likely won't go anywhere tomorrow, unless someone else in my family wants to, then I might tag along...
-
As for me I am here at Oxmoor Mall in Louisville with my mom posting from the Apple Store
-
NO! I hate shopping. I do, however, have to run to the dollar tree to get a couple things for school. But no... no christmas shopping for me..until december :P

Well, an employee of a Long Island NY Walmart died after being trampled by customers this morning....

I have to ROFL, simply because thats the most insane thing I've EVER heard.
-
Seriously, that employee and the woman's baby lost their lives because of some hundreds of careless and insane customers running to the store. Did you even see that picture? Look at all of these "animals" running to the store and stepping on other people. I didn't know money could be valued way more than people.
The insane crowds is one reason why i never go black friday shopping.

Unfortunately, a lot of peoples' mindsets are just that.

It's better to have 100 friends than 100 dollars, that's what I say.

I agree very much.

Is it possible to have 100 friends?

if you're promiscuous and have had like over 150 partners before turning 19 (like someone I used to know) then yes.
-
Wow, some people sure are prolific.
I guess it doesn't matter, since I hate people. :P
-
I need to retract my previous statement...my dad shopped Wal-Mart for a bike at 5AM, and I just got back from some very light shopping at K-Mart.
-
Is it possible to have 100 friends?
Sure it is!
And they don't necessarily have to be partners, as Jesse was talking about.

My thought exactly

That's just fucking weird as hell if you ask me.

100?! I only have probably about 15-20 at best (in real person). Some of those are probably not even considered as friends, but more as acquaintances. I'm not that outgoing, though I am improving somewhat and have met a handful of new people this year (mainly freshmen and sophomores).

I guess it all comes down to priorities and social skills. :dunno:

I was gonna keep my mouth shut, but I thought so too.

I'm kind of the same way. Most of the people I know I would consider to be acquaintances rather than friends. I'm not the slightest bit outgoing.
-
Going back to my post, that is just a proverb.
-
I try to be outgoing, but I'm terribly shy (especially around girls!) so its very hard sometimes. But despite that impediment, I have managed to make quite a few friends over the years. Sometimes I'm amazed at how easy it is. :D
-
Sometimes, friends are easy to make, but hard in other times. I value making friends more than making money.
-
I do too. Money comes and goes, but friends are forever.

Consider yourself lucky. :hmm:

Ideally. :itsok:

Sorry you have such a hard time of it Gil. I wish I knew what to tell you, but I don't.
It's not like anyone here takes my advice anyway! :D :P
