An iTunes related Question
« on: August 06, 2007, 10:57:06 AM »
I just receive a 15 dollar iTunes gift card and am ready to buy music but with the gift card, am I only allowed to purchase music with the card all at once or can I download some music for now and downoad some later until the card value is $0? Do you also know any good TWC songs on iTunes that might be good to buy. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

I would imagine that you can spend the money at any rate you wish. I don't believe that there is any requirement that you spend the money all at once. As for what songs to buy, my usual technique is to just scan through the playlists and buy songs that I think may be good. Although I'm sure that there are at least a few people here who won't hesitate to give you suggestions.

I have an itunes gift card, and you can use it whenever you want. basically, it credits your account for whatever the amount the
giftcard is. However, every song you buy after entering the card# can only deduct from the amount. In other words, you can't enter
the card # and then later decide you want to pay through paypal or credit card. You have to use up the card entirely before you can
use any other payment method.

You mean you still have to pay money even if you use the card?

No no no. I mean, you have to use the card as the payment method until it runs out. I don't know how i can put this any simpler.
You can't use the card, then switch between paypal/credit card.

You have to use the card for all purchases until the card runs out.

Let me see if I can simplify it a bit: What you do is enter your card number. Then iTunes will give you money in your account (the value of the gift card). You must spend all of that money before you can choose another payment method (Paypal, credit card, etc.).

Make sense to ya now?
