Since I'm somewhat of a fanatic over airline liveries, especially American, since it is the main airline I fly, I figured I would post this. American Airlines just introduced a new logo and livery to the public today (first time since 1968). What do you all think of it? The new "eagle" may take some time getting used to. I think the tail would look better with stars instead of lines in the blue section, but as I saw on some Facebook posts, that resemble too much of Colgan Air. A big change is that "AA" is no longer present anywhere, meaning the merger with US Airways might be taking place?
Here's the YouTube video from American explaining their change:

I really like the new additions to AA, it looks like they took a step in the modern direction.

I really like the design of the american flag on the back tail of the plane.

Impressive, I wonder if the merger really is taking place. They've been in bankruptcy protection for a while

I like it

Excellent evolution of an iconic brand.

I like the design. The airline, I never quite got used to. I try to avoid American if I can help it.

I like that they're including more American spirit. After all, they are American Airlines.
