David Kenny recently stepped in as Chairman and CEO, replacing Michael Kelly (who I think was only there for a year or two) :wacko:

Wasn't Michael Kelly a temporary CEO when someone else was fired or stepped down?

IIRC, he replaced Darby, who left in mid-late 2010. So it was only a 1.5 year run for Kelly. Not sure if he was a temporary CEO or if he just decided to step down to go elsewhere, though.

Geoffrey Darby was not the CEO of The Weather Channel Companies, but only the VP of programming.

:doh: that's right, I think Kelly started in 2009 now that I think about it. I don't see a Programming VP on the press room anymore ever since Darby left. :unsure:

i see alot of names on that page, it seems he has tons of experience. (Akamai, VivaKi, Digitas, Yahoo)
