Title: Question about current stream I saw on YouTube.
Post by: typhoon on January 19, 2018, 12:08:48 PM
Hello everyone, new user to the forum, really enjoy the old 1990s aesthetic that a lot of these emulators offer. I have a couple questions.

First off, does anyone know where I can get the software featured in this current ongoing live stream?

And second, how does one begin their exploration on their own weather emulation software? What are the prerequisites of building something like this on your own?

Thanks in advance.

You're actually in the right place, just need to visit this particular thread: https://twctodayforums.com/forums/news-and-updates/public-release-now-available-(dec-2017) (https://twctodayforums.com/forums/news-and-updates/public-release-now-available-(dec-2017))

To build an emulator which handles live weather information, you need to be able to disseminate the data that originates at the NWS (or other sources, such as API's), process it and present it in a favorable way.

Hope this helps!
