At 8:00 PM CT, the TWC logo that appears in the lower right-hand corner of the screen on the start of segments stayed on longer than usual. Normally, it would disappear after 10 seconds, but this time it stayed on for more like 30-ish seconds. I wonder why that happened.

For some reason, the cut of music that plays with the standalone A&B opener is really screwed up; it's like there are two tracks playing at once, making it sound horrible.

Thats exactly what it is, its a overlap between the two, have you noticed how on both EE & AB they have to fade between tracks (pre-edit segments with track, to live Audio Cart track)? It's hard to do without making it sound like crap. However TWC has been pulling it off very nicely.

Ugh, I may have to change the channel. I don't think I can handle hearing about the kid getting struck by lighting in his shorts again.

Yeah, like it was so cool hearing about that kid again, man! Like, I'm sitting here in my favorite pair of shorts, and I'm like watching FFN and I hear this kid who like got struck by lightning. It was so cool, man!

At 11:40 AM ET, Dave mentioned that the "Travel Delays" segment used to be called "Travel Wise" and he mentioned that they're "talking the low road" and how much more positive "Travel Wise" sounded than "Travel Delays."

I so agree with him. He probably misses storm watch too, because a few months ago he called the :50 segment "storm watch."

So, how did EEWC go on Wednesday night? Was it just three hours long, or was the 3AM long-form block pre-empted?

Just three hours. :(

I have to agree with what Dave said as well; the segment isn't even *just* about delays.

Oh great, we've got a new story about a guy who got struck by lighting through his baseball cap. Maybe they can make a new FFN about it!

Also, apparently Mish Michaels is going to be on A&B later.
