Did anyone see the beginning of A&B tonight? Both Mike and Steph were standing in front of the key wall with an infrared satellite image behind them. That wasn't the exciting part, but what was, was a new HD-looking titlebar to the satellite image.

Edit, looks Steve beat me to posting it. :P

When did weather.com change most of their basemaps to reflect the ones used on TWC? I know it was some time after the basemaps on TWC changed (which I think was April or May 2006).

Not really. She ought to be the Saturday night anchor for now on while Adam will do EEWC every Sunday night. That's a win in my book.

They just used a wide shot of the Studio 1A desk at 8:55 CT, and it looks like they still actually have ornamental lighting on the floor in front of the desk. This is the first time in months they've ever panned the camera out far enough to see it, though.

@ Billy

I noticed the same thing last night, as well. It was bright again for the daytime shows, but they seemed to turn the lights down again for EE. Most notably, the pillars are a much darker blue right now; doesn't look very good in HD, IMO. The set looked beautiful this morning.

It also looks like they're on a two-camera setup now as opposed to three. The one on the far right has been removed. I wonder if it was an HD camera, and it needed to be moved to the HD studio.

The camera doing the two-person shot today seems to be a bit blurry.
