I haven't seen this in eons! You can tell they don't use this often because it has the old 99-06 basemap on it.
Today, you can see this map (with ocean/lakes colored in dark blue) during the LOT8s.

Since it's still WC, I just noticed Kelly Cass and Betty Davis are hosting this show. Why?

What is VIL?

Vertically Integrated Liquid. It's a mode on NEXRAD radars that is commonly used to see falling hail.

They do that when Storm Stories is preempted so that both teams work three hours.

Freelance Ryan Goswick is on Weather Center today along with Dave. That's the first time I've seen Ryan on in awhile.

They actually worked together a few weekends ago, as well. We may wind up seeing this pairing more and more.

And now Carl Parker is working EEWC. We haven't seen that in a while.

Speaking of EEWC, has Cheryl Lemke been moved to Weekend Outlook? I saw her on this morning, though I haven't seen WO the past few weekends, and the past few weekends, one OCM that hosted PME/EE was doing EEWC.

Eboni Deon has been doing a lot of fill-in work on Weekend Now as of late, so this might just be a temporary setup. I'm curious how this will all work out.

They're still using the winter Weather Center opener. Shouldn't they have switched to the summer opener by now?

One would certainly think so.

I think I remember hearing the full controlled Weather Center (which only airs weekends) recently started showing the summer opener. They haven't on the mastered WC, for some reason.

IMO, the winter WC opener is nicer than the summer version. Same with YWT.

Nicer, maybe. Fitting? No. TWC should definitley be using their summer openers.
