Was reading Weather Channel reviews and happen to come across this?
Quote
The company used to be a fantastic place to work. But since the new CEO came on board (the 3rd CEO in 5 years) it's been downright awful. He is a multimillionaire who owns his own jet and also happens to be formerly with Bain Capital, the company that owns 1/3 of the company and primarily runs things. His job is plain and simple: sell the company as fast as possible now that Bain and the other owners have had it for over 5 years after buying at the peak of the market for an overpriced $3 billion. The CEO didn't even bother to move to the headquarters? He still lives in Boston, where the company has no offices.
This is posted by an anonymous VP who currently works at TWC. Posted on March 22 of this year. Link Here hwww.indeed.com/cmp/The-Weather-Channel/reviews the sixth review down. It also talks about that the ratings even with long form are in the dumps. Bain Capital Runs Things? I thought it was that nasty Rainbow Colored Peacock. If The Weather Channel is going for sale it better be bought by the NWS.   :P

Does anyone have coverage of the 5/31/2013 outbreak from about noon to 4 pm?

So does this mean they will finally understand that they've been heading in the wrong direction? Hopefully they'll see that and fix a few things. Like Long Form hours or maybe LOT8s?

No. I highly doubt this will impact much on what we're seeing on TWC right now.

I'm sure TWC will discover that the audience sentiment corresponds to what we (part of TWC's audience) have already expressed about TWC's direction.  I don't think they'll listen, though.  So, nothing will be fixed.

WCL at 1am is back to using two OCM's for the live blocks 1am-1:08am and 1:30-1:38am.
The other blocks are still a rebroadcast from the 10pm WCL.

I've also noticed most of the guys are back to wearing their suit jackets.

As of this morning, TWC's Logo is Orange. It's not Orange yet on the LO8. What's the occasion? If it's for fall, It's a nice touch!

now that TWC has used the Orange Logo, do you think they should try different colors for Holidays, Seasons, other charities and causes?

I think TWC should do so. I had no idea about such event until I found out about the orange logo. I'm sure it will raise awareness a little more if TWC did so, as well as other networks.
