DP is in the monitor position! Could we see PME in the maps position?
Don't they usually go back and forth between the monitor and sunset backdrop?

If Stephen's theory holds true PME will probably be in the same position Day Planner.

They use the monitor on DP, but the desk has never been in the monitor position before. Normally, they have one OCM at the desk and the other at the telestrator when they use the monitor.

While we're talking about desk set-ups, it seems to me like the "normal" positions are never used anymore. Like on Day Planner, the desk may be facing the city backdrop but the OCMS usually sit facing the monitor.

I really don't like it. :P With this new setup, would the city backdrop be used for any show? :dunno:

Sounds like an issue with your IntelliStar. If you know your local weather ID, go to TWC Classics and post on the STAR Team board.

One theory suggests that this might have something to do with Wake Up. They might be making some renovation to the sunset backdrop area (if it is, then probably nothing big since the show starts in a week).

Something is definitely going on over there... the Starriness area of the studio isn't starry anymore....

Maybe has something to do with the debut of WUWA?

I have to agree with everyone on the debut of WUWA being a good theory for what you're seeing in the studio.

Me too. I hope they are not gone forever...I'll be interested to see what kind of "changes" are being done.
