No sir. They use LCD screens now. If there's still a chroma key wall in the studio I haven't seen it.

They have two chroma key walls in there that rotate so that they're not seen on camera much. Their quality isn't that great, though.

LOL, at the start of this last hour of Evening Edition, Steph was like, "We're falling tonight on EE, we've got lots of falling temperatures, you see. Paul and I aren't literally falling. So Paul, what's going on with the temps?" Paul laughed and was like, "Well...I actually did literally fall here once; I didn't actually hit the ground, but I came pretty close. It's dangerous times here in high definition at The Weather Channel."

I was hoping Paul was gonna bring that up when Steph said that; what a perfect opportunity.

They do that sometimes when the OCM hasn't appeared on front of the camera yet. I could immediately tell because I heard Kim's footsteps after the Weekly Planner opener.

That wasn't the green screen, they were just broadcasting that map directly on screen before they switched to the video wall.

Carl and Kristina hosted Weekend Weather Center today, and now the Adam and Kristin gang is on PM Edition.

This makes no sense... could this mean that Adam and Kristin won't be hosting EE? But if not, then who would?

I certainly am thinking that them hosting EEWC is out of the question at this point. One of them might do it solo on alternating nights, or maybe even Cheryl Lemke will return to the slot.

It could be back to the old schedule... having Carl/Kristina host WWC and then the 7 PM CT hour of EE, and have Adam/Kristin host the 5 PM CT hour of PME and then the 9 PM CT hour of EE and EEWC.

I like it when Christina and Carl were on at 3 PM and Adam and Kristin started at 6 PM.

Supposedly there's also a live 10 PM CT hour of EE plus EEWC at Midnight CT just like the weekday schedule. That would be a big load for Adam and Kristin. I don't see why they wouldn't just start them at 7 PM CT for EE and have them go from there...
