Title: Floor directors

Has anyone noticed how TWC didn't use floor directors in the old studio, but in the current HD studio they do? Why is this?

Probably because it's a much bigger space. Also maybe because TWC didn't have the money to spend on countdown systems thus needing floor directors to cue the OCM's. Have you noticed in the old studio when they would go to a wide studio view something on the top of the teleprompter had two lights and when they got to the middle they faded to black? Just my thoughts.
