At 5:05 PM ET, when they were showing a satellite picture of Bertha, there was a fragment of the northeast forecast map stuck on the upper left corner of the screen. The titlebar looked like it said "NATELLITE VIEW."

Titan seems to get stuck like that a lot, mainly on the old WPS-type maps.

At 6:10 PM CT, they played the Storm Alert: Hurricane Bertha opener.

Now we know that the Storm Alert theme music uses a warped version of the normal Tropical Update signature designed to sound more "disastrous" along with a darker sounding theme overall.

The "Storm Alert" text is even more obscure than the previous package; it only appears inside the text that flies around at the start of the opener, but the hurricane's name is in red instead of yellow.

It just aired again. Were you watching?

BTW, I can get an SD video off the DVR buffer if it's still working.

Airing at 8:10 PM ET? If that was it, then, yes, I saw it.

Thanks... because I didn't see it. I assume the SA opens were cued by mistake?

Well, they're not really in Storm Alert mode. Are you saying they might be trying to create hype?

OK, sorry for changing the blooper topic, but for the EEWC sponsor screen (and maybe EE too), PM Edition teaser music is used.

That's normal. I don't know why it uses the PME music though, seeing how Evening Edition is the only show that uses that graphic.

It's not specifically used for just the teaser - it's part of the entire PME package. Also, all the morning shows use the same sponsor screen with YWT music, WC and PME use the same sponsor screen with WC music, and A&B and EE use the same sponsor with PM Edition music.

Whenever I saw A&B use the sponsor screen, it was the EE one.
