I think Viz|Weather froze at 12:05 AM ET. They were showing all the watches and warnings on SkyTracker/Titan/whatever-they're-calling-it and in the lower left corner, you could see the remnants of an infrared satellite picture, both frozen.

Then during the next segment, they were stuck on the 5-day forecast for Indianapolis while Adam had to talk through everything that was supposed to be presented. He commented, "That's what happens when you have too many people touching things at once."

Apparently they now have at least 6 Viz|Weather sources now (Viz 600). Anyone hear any higher numbers used?

Viz is sure having a lot of problems tonight; during the last segment, it froze at the start and then started repeating every map twice. Kristin remarked about how "That's what you get with new technology."

It's true, Viz|Weather has always been problematic since they installed it.

At 3:50 CT when it was time for the Tropical Update, there was a loud crashing noise as Cheryl was talking to the wall, and all of a sudden we were switched to the microphone audio of Cheryl's top-of-the-hour partner who was apparently getting ready to go on-the-air.

Edit: And that partner turned out to be none other than Mark Mancuso! He's back! Let's party with the long-timers! :twothumbs:

Now Cheryl just did Dave's favorite maneuver: Pop-up in front of the key wall!

At 12:23 PM ET on Weekend Now, after a Weather Ready segment aired, you could hear Kim saying "If you can actually use the clicker over here on..." then the audio cut out and a motionless Weekend Now graphic showed with (I guess) the WN theme music.

They just displayed a Weekend Getaway graphic that appears to be from last week's YWT. It displayed a forecast for Saturday (probably because it's within the next seven days), but Sunday just displayed a dash.

Now full control is messing up today by sourcing an old WPS-style Travel Weather precip forecast map with the 05-08 title bar. I wonder why such a map would've even been made up for today...

At 5:02 AM ET when Jennifer was switching from (what looked to be a) WPS-generated Infrared satellite view to a Viz|Weather-generated Midwest Forecast map, static came up on the wall behind her for about five seconds.

I didn't quite catch the whole segment, and I am pretty sure this was at 12:50 CT..or 11:50, during the tropical update, Rich couldn't forward the map, so they brought Sharon in the picture, and showed the trade-off of clickers.

I'm not sure if they already had the camera zoomed out..b/c as I mentioned, I didn't catch the whole segment, only the tradeoff..

Here's how I remember it happening: They had Rich up at the left video screen, then he stepped out of the picture, and then at that point they went to a wide shot where the entire projection wall was in picture, and you could see Sharon giving the clicker to Rich in the center.

Anybody catch the end of PM Edition? Betty and Sam were messing around with Mike Bettes, who was off camera, and then at the very end Mike B. went between Betty and Sam and waved while Mike Seidel walked by in the background. I wish I had been paying attention, and on top of that, my buffer was recording the wrong channel, so I can't play it back or record it.

At 3:40 PM ET, it looks like the lights at the chroma key were way too bright for a minute or so. Everything was washed out and for the rest of the segment Vivian took a step off the screen, even though it looks like they lowered the level of the lights.

Yeah, I saw that as well; that Hurricane Central wall is so buggy.
