On WCL they have been incorrectly using the :60 second forecast animation as a transition between OCMs.

Not a TWC blooper, but an interesting enough one nonetheless.  An Orlando TV meteorologist, while talking about the tropical disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico, kept talking about its impact on Cuba while continuously pointing to the Yucatan Peninsula.  I just kept thinking... "Really?"

Perhaps they weren't correctly aligned on the chroma wall and didn't realize it..

At 3:08pm they played a recorded live report from Mike Sidel where he says "Good morning Eric" when it was Juile doing the intro then at the end he tosses to Carl Parker when it's Nick doing the next segment.
Either they did not edit the beginning and end and planed to use that segment or they ran the wrong report.

For the 4pm WCL on 6/30 they keep incorrectly using the :60 Second Forecast animated transition between segments.

Yeah, they do that on rare occasion. I heard it during one of their golf sponsor teasers on Day Planner back in May. Now if only they used the evening 2008 sponsor teaser music. :bleh:

Or even the Closed Captioning bumper with the 05-08 WO music.. :hmm: Speaking of that bumper, I saw it a few times last year at :49 past and it used the same music as the current LOT8s sponsor screen.

I would like the Lot8s openers from '05 - '08 to come back.

I just watched the local forecast on the Intellistar 2.  The 36-hour forecast (text format, not picture-only) contained text with the weather conditions, but no temperature, wind, or chance of precipitation information.  No narration due to time.

Kelly just called Kim Cunningham "Hurricane Specialist". Kim is really a normal OCM.

That's not a blooper. Kim and Carl are both officially called Hurricane Specialists by the network now.

Bryan Norcross was talking about Isaac when he was abruptly cut off by commercials. I guess he ran out of time.

The IntelliStar LDL also stayed up during the first couple of commercials.

EDIT: LOL, another blooper occurred at the beginning of DP. They showed the video wall while playing dramatic music then Jen popped up into camera view, I guess she was waiting for her cue to head to the desk and walked swiftly in front of the screen to get to the desk while talking/doing the teaser for the show.

The 10 AM ET intro of Weekend View used the 2010-2011 theme for WV :P and in the intro Mike Seidel accidently said "Weekend Now" but corrected himself to say "Weekend View"
