Stephanie just said "That's coming up after your local weather and Traffic on the 8's"

i guess she never got the memo that traffic's been gone since late last year.
She should know if she has cable and watches the LOT8's. But, she has to read off the autoscript.

No music on the second half of the 4:28 EST LF.

Black screen from 4:30-4:34 PM EST. Then, the feed was back to normal for Forbsies TorCon forecast at 4:35 PM EST.

Expect to see more of these moments over the next week as it's that time of year again.

Recieved a special weather bulletin a few days ago that read
... A shot of heavy rain moving through the area...

Doppler radar is showing a developing area of heavy rain in the
Raritan valley and the immediate Philadelphia area. This area will
be moving east central New Jersey between now and 10 mph.
Mesonet
stations are reporting rainfall rates of around one quarter of an
inch per hour. Anyone driving over the next couple of hours should
be alert for heavy rain and ponding of water in poor drainage
areas. Where possible please take roadways that are not less flood
prone. This rain is moving fairly quickly and should not cause
any problems with streams or rivers or cause widespread roadway
flooding.
I've boldfaced the mistake. I knew rain could move houses but never parts of a state. Surprised they didn't catch it.

During Weather Caught on Cam, there was no L-Bar, but we could see the tab saying "ON NOW WEATHER CAUGHT ON CAM" and the 4-note chime that appears when the L-Bar appears.  :thrilled:

I saw that. Not much of a major blooper. Just a fluke.

Those are some nice temps in Washington DC. Imagine if the IS's over there were saying "Currently, the temperature is: -22 degrees, under sunny skies with windy conditions." (shows scattered t'storms icon)
I just saw the same glitch at the 10:48 PM and on the 10:38 PM HD LF! :thrilled: I recorded the 10:38 PM LF.

Our STAR unit has had some vocal local segments interact, in example...
Currently in our area... sevent-your local forecast.

Video? I dont think the XL has that narration for "your local forecast"  also, unlike the IS, i dont think the XL can multitask and launch multiple instances unless the headend mysteriously has multiple XLs connected..

And the XL doesn't have "currently in our area" in the narration; it's "currently in your area." ;)
