Title: Weather Channel Video from April 1991
Post by: Lightning on February 26, 2015, 02:43:27 PM
I just watched this video on YouTube. I had never seen it before, so I'd like to share it. The footage was on the day after the infamous Andover, Kansas F5 tornado. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_vC5aqwcWpQ

Good stuff, thanks for sharing! Interesting that they already had their extended forecast title. The screen was changed only a few weeks prior, and it's my understanding that these were all added manually.

Neat!  I have never seen a local forecast from Oklahoma City before, and it has my favorite version of the regional forecast graphics - the originals!

Seguaro was one of my favorite songs - I have an MP3 of it.

That was my favorite local forecast song, too.  I haven't heard it in so long, so for that alone, thank you so much for posting!

Glad you found and posted this video! Nice to see some footage after that tornado outbreak and the locals from OKC.

Here is another video of a documentary that aired on The Weather Channel in 1993, Great Weather Catastrophies.
