« on: July 11, 2011, 09:24:14 PM »
Been doing these emulations for a while now, but I thought I'd share a few from my area.

The first video is one I did right around the time that the Springfield, MA tornado occured back in June. Features "Hangin' Out" by Chris Camozzi:

Well, not realizing at first that the intro video I used the last time I was here was TWCZach's (I got the intro video in an emulator package for the Intellistar 2 I believe on this board), I've decided to start a new thread to post my emulations. If the mods would rather have me use the old thread, that's OK though. I actually found out that the intro video I used was Zach's only about a few weeks ago when I saw it on YouTube, but oh well. I'll just ask next time before I use anything of his, and of course I'll credit him.

Anyhow, here is a recent Weatherstar 4000 emulation I did for the upcoming Nor'easter heading my way this weekend:

I merged your new thread into the existing one you had so that it's all in one place.

Here is another 1 of my Intellistar-style TWC emulations. Credit gos to number1twcfan for the icons & some of the images, like the background. Credit gos to apoecker for the XL narrations & the "Atmospheres" ad at top right. And some of the narrations you hear are me talking :) Song is "Memories of the Past" by Trammell Starks:

Something I did about a month ago in OpenOffice.org....a little parody emulation of the Intellistar 2. The weather icons came from TWC & were provided by number1twcfan via a link in his Intellistar v2 (the 1 with thethe current Weatherstar XL background) emulator. I used mostly the plain Arial font here, because I'm not sure which are used in the actual IS2.

Those weather icons actually came from TWC, not number1twcfan.

To clarify, I downloaded them from number1twcfan's Photobucket page, using a link he provided in his Intellistar v2 emulator after doing a Google search for the emulator. I know they were used on TWC's website from 2010 until recently when they changed the icons used on their website. They still use these on the Intellistar.

Most recent emulation, the Intellistar v3

Intellistar v3.4 Emulator: Bennington VT, 4/16/2012

Downloaded it from AuthorStream, courtesy of TWCjon, who also let me use the blue LDL seen in my later TWC emulators. Unsure who the original author of this emulator is.
