I get a runtime error when I start the emulator. The error is attached.
-
try right clicking on the XL emu icon and click on Run as Admin.
-
That is the first thing I have done. I wonder if it has to do with the fact that I am trying to run it on x64.

i have x64 also i only have runtime errors when i add traffic and the data is invalid
-
I disabled the traffic product, so it can't be that. It may help that is hangs at Beta Radar / Satellite Map.

Yes, I have tried the manual update. I also tried switching locations.

Manual update wont work anyway. x64 bit does not matter
1. Whats your ID?
2. Make sure you run the affiliate ID as admin when you set your ID
3. Make sure the latest update is installed
4. Restart your computer and run everything as admin.

My ID is hen7713, and I tried those steps as you stated, and they still don't work.

Did it ever work before?
-
Not on this PC.

Same situation. Always get runtime error. Followed instructions exactly. Have tried running everything start to finish as admin. Originally tried on Win7 x64, setup a dual boot with Win7 x86, same error. Have tried compatibillity mode as well as admin, nada. Any ideas?

ok this issue seems to be getting wayy too old.. i need to find something better than the old version of installshield to install this program the right way on vista and greater.. I also have some features i want to have working right out of the box. sorry, im just procrastinating, i have been busy with other things!!
-
I am going to try copying the files off of my XP installation. I'll add a post later if it works or not.
-
I had attempted copying the files from my other desktop, and the run time error continues to occur.
-
