Title: Emulator's Satellite & Radar Error
Post by: tuez13 on March 11, 2010, 12:28:46 AM
I noticed that in the past two days, the satellite and radar imagery have been acting weird.  It appears that not all of the overlay was allowed to load, therefore has boxes of "missing" imagery.  Any thoughts?  Note the images:

Also, in reference to this  (https://twctodayforums.com/forums/bug-reports-37/na-icons/)thread, many conditions are still triggering the N/A icon instead of the appropriate one, i.e. flurries, drizzle, mist, etc.  Just thought I'd mention it!

That box is caused by the radar software that TWC uses; it's meant to block out what the radar sees as clutter. Sometimes it doesn't work 100% of the time.

Sad :(  It's messed up!  I was hoping it would be something simple like the emulator not downloading the image fast enough or something.  Oh well.  Thanks for the info!
